Sounds like the CFO goofed and leaked some teachnology information. Customers have waited awhile for Verizon to get the iPhone, but now it looks like Verizon is getting deeper in bed with Apple. The leak states that Verizon is getting a special chipped iPad that will be supported by their network, according to Bloomberg.
Currently, Verizon stores do sell iPads, the now iPhone-equipped network sells the WiFi version bundled with a MiFi hotspot.
Rumors are coming in that the new Apple iPad will be thin & light, will feature a camera and a microUSB port, Apple will officially unveiled it in Q2 2011, and it will feature the same 9.7 inch display. It’s also rumored that Apple will bring a 7-Inch iPad, which will compete the Samsung Galaxy Tab and Blackberry Playbook, but it has not been finalized. I hope we will hear some more information about the new Apple iPad soon.
Hear that? Thats the sound of AT&T's knees beginning to shake.
