HALLE BERRY'S NASTY CUSTODY BATTLE WITH GABRIEL AUBRY

In my opinion, this is just a case of jealousy gone wrong. They both almost immediately started dating after they broke up. Normally, this would just result in bad feeling between the ex-couple but they have a daughter. Unfortunately they're both being immature as shit and using their poor daughter as a way to get back at each other.Read on to get the full scoop.

Halle Berry just can't get it right in the relationship department. After she and Gabriel Aubry first broke up, they seemed very respectful of each other for their daughter's sake, but that didn't last very long. Monday, Berry decided to announce that she was dropping out of the movie 'New Year's Eve' to focus on this custody battle and a rep followed up but telling People Magazine:
"Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her"

"She has attempted to resolve these custody issues amicably with her daughter's father, Gabriel Aubry, directly, but given his lack of cooperation, Halle has no choice but to seek swift judicial intervention."
Of course, there are two sides to every story. Halle's former friend and business partner, Stephane Bibeau stated:
"Once they broke up he became verbally threatening to Halle. He doesn't even realize the strength of his words. He is a vindictive guy."
Both Halle and Gabriel have stated that the other is jealous. Gabriel feels that she spends more time focusing on her dating life than spending time with her daughter. He also said that she has been known to call him in jealous fits after seeing him with other women such as Kim Kardashian. On Tuesday Aubry's rep sent out a press statement contesting:
"Gabriel fully believes that a consistent and balanced living situation and two loving parents are crucial for their child even if Ms. Berry feels otherwise. ... Halle's continuing allegations in the press are untrue and irresponsible."
Psychoanalyst Wendy Walsh weighed in and described that:
"...because Berry was raised by her mom and was estranged from her dad (her parents divorced when she was 4 years old), she might be searching in vain for a father figure, not just for Nala but also for herself"

"She's going to pick the men who provide the most challenge -- the men who can't love, the men who are emotionally absent," Walsh said. "These are the quote-unquote perfect mates for her kind of attachment style."
